Augie

Augie

The Augie is cross between the Australian Shepherd or Miniature Australian Shepherd and the Welsh Corgi.

The Augie is cross between the Australian Shepherd or Miniature Australian Shepherd and the Welsh Corgi. They also keep more of the corgi appearance but can have long hair like a Aussie and will have more of the Aussie color.

By combining two herding breeds both known for their people-oriented personalities, intelligence, willingness to learn and desire to work with their people, Auggies have all the personality ingredients to make superb family and companion dogs.

Additionally they have all the instincts to make smart, disciplined cattle working dogs with loads of herding instinct coupled with small, agile bodies, low center of gravity, quick on their feet and great attention to detail. Also called a Auggie, Augi, or Aussie-Corgi.
